"Know your Rights to Defend your Rights"

ACLU of MS's Town Hall Series

In an ongoing effort to ensure the rights of Mississippi's citizens are protected, the ACLU of MS is holding a series of Town Hall Meetings for Jackson, Gulfport, Hattiesburg, Starkville and the MS Delta.

The purpose of the Town Hall tour is to hear the collective concerns of the host communities, to document stories of government misconduct, and to help communities establish restorative justice projects (such as neighborhood watches and better police oversight) in their neighborhoods.

Come out, have your voices heard and be part of Mississippi history in the making. The Town Hall tour is scheduled from April - Fall 2007.

April 26, 2007: Jackson Medical Mall, Jackson, MS

May 31, 2007: Good Deeds Community Center, Gulfport, MS

June 19, 2007: Propst Park Community Hut, Jackson, MS

Hattiesburg and MS Delta dates and locations to be announced
